ILS CEO goes to Spaceflight

ILS CEO goes to Spaceflight

This is a big win for Spaceflight in getting a high-caliber industry executive to succeed Curt Blake, who had 10 years at the helm. It’s also a loss for International Launch Services, which adds the lack of a prominent figurehead to its list of woes. That ILS, the joint Russian-American launch services provider hasn’t been dissolved in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war is a surprise. Given that Russia eliminated itself from the commercial launch sector with its unprovoked violence towards Ukraine, we don’t see much of a future for ILS.
